Free Writing - Corona Virus

 Week 4 term 2. weekend just over and i've come down with a cold. These days if you have symptoms of a cold people just assume that it's COVID 19. Day 1 feels like it's going on forever all I was doing was watching movies, sneezing, and sleeping. Day 2 it's nice and peaceful doing what I usually do. A loud noise started getting closer and sounded like kids were screaming as they entered the house. It was my little brother and sister screaming their heads off in laughter. When the kids got home they gave me the biggest headache ever. I thought I should be used to this. I hear loud voices every day.  

Planet Guba

Little did they know their world was going to change. Gooba was an unnatural planet. Every person has powers. Not normal right. Well, nearly everyone. Except Blurb, he isn’t like the other kids. He hasn’t got powers. All the other kids are all out playing. They don’t let blurb join in. He’s picked last for everything. I wouldn’t blame them because he;s really skinny. He’s more light green than dark. He has weird spiky hair and no powers. Blurb has no friends. His only friend was his mum. She passed away from a disease. He’s alone, No family.After school he goes home and tries everything to see if he has powers.


A large crackling soul came from the centre of the planet, splitting the earth apart. P from the ground came zumba, a dark lord, villainous, evil and ready to destroy the people of guba. The capital panama has been overrun by zumba the stores everywhere his troop are going to people houses and holding them hostage there was a sertern present that has awakened zumba the one and only blurb the end.

Information report

This picture shows what an information report is. Read it and then read my intro down bellow. 80% of our waterways are fair to poor quality. The reason I'm writing this is because our water in Aotearoa is really yuck. In our precious water we've got top soil, algae, and rubbish. This water we use it for a lot of things we drink and our wildlife drinks it to. Our forest needs the water and the plants we eat as well. In my class ATN we are going to be testing our local stream to see how healthy our water is in our community.

Setting description

As I sit under the tree drips fall and splash. It hits my forehead. Listening to the birds are singing, fluttering and chattering. All my senses are active. I can hear the cars rumbling as they drive past and I can smell the wet soggy leaves around me. I can see the drips falling from above. It felt like that ten minutes lasted forever. 

John And John John

Puff! Their luggage has fallen into the jungle. John John said “umm john John said “yes”. “Our gear is gone”. “What?”. John John was a talking monkey and he wore boots. He was brown with green eyes and he always sat on John's shoulder. John is a pretty chill guy. He’s dressed like Indiana Jones. He’s serious when he needs to be and he knows to have fun. He only opens up to his best friend John John. But he has no hair but that's another story. John likes to keep to himself but has an excellent sense of humour. I suppose explorers don't tend to see lots of people all the time.
